Lake Eland Game Reserve is approximately 125 kilometers from the city of Durban and just a stones throw away from numerous popular South Coast towns. Located on 2 500 hectares of land, the land which Lake Eland Game Reserve is located on, was bought and founded in 2003 by brothers Eric and Trevor Dunstone for conservation purposes.

The chapel is situated on a hill, there for name “Chapel on the Hill”. It is usually surrounded by a vast variety of antelope, zebra, and wildebeest grazing on the grassy plains. The chapel looks onto the Game Reserve, providing spectacular views for guests to admire before and after the service and a stunning backdrop for your wedding photos.

The chapel seats 220 guests comfortably on wooden pews, with a raised platform in the front of the chapel where the bride and groom stand for the service.
